"Sure!" Niffty chirped. "If he's back, that means he's probably resting up after a long Execution Day!"
She skipped over and looked at the little shadow creatures, waving to them.
"Good morning, all of you!" She then giggled at them. "Little pigs, little pigs, won't you please let me in?"
The little shadows gamboled about, pleased with the game. The first of the magical locks opened as they swarmed the door.
She then reached into her pocket for a talisman which she pressed against the door. There was a buzz of radio static before the second magical lock undid itself.
Finally, she put the talisman away before using her copy of the master key to unlock the door, the key glowing hotly for a moment as it interacted with the last magical lock in addition to the physical one. Then she turned the knob smartly to the left and the door swung open.
"Easy as one-two-three!" she chirped.
She then hurried inside, going to work cleaning while her boss continued his heavy slumber. Funny, she couldn't remember the last time he'd looked so peaceful sleeping and she'd known him the longest.
