Well, that was just rude. Not the first time he'd had a door slammed in his face, but still. Rude.
Alastor calmly got out of the car, striding into the hotel after Angel. If anyone asked, well, the spider still had his jacket.
He didn't say anything, just letting Angel have his little fit. Likely the drugs leaving his system.
He only stopped when Charlie appeared, looking quite confused and distressed. She moved to follow Angel but Alastor held up a hand.
"Let me handle it," Alastor told her. "If he yells at me, there's no risk of me taking it personally."
"If you're sure..." she murmured, looking worriedly towards Angel.
Alastor patted the princess of Hell on the head. "I am. Besides, he'll feel less guilty when he comes down if it's me he's tearing into."
With that, Alastor resumed following Angel.
