"It's a double-edged sword," Alastor said dryly. "They were lonely when I arrived and when they realized I could hear them, they latched on to me. They're everywhere in Hell."
One of the little creatures wandered over to Alastor to tug on his pant leg.
Alastor looked down. Anyone else wouldn't be able to tell the difference between all the little ones. However, Alastor knew them. "Ah yes. Thank you again for your assistance earlier. All of you."
With that, Alastor held out his hands and summoned a sphere of glowing green power in his hands about the size of a basketball.
The little shadows eagerly swarmed Alastor, each siphoning off some of the orb's magic until none of it remained. They mutely chittered as they enjoyed their "snack".
