Honestly, Alastor was going to need quite some time not touching anybody after all this, but he was swallowing that complaint for Angel's sake. He couldn't even blame Angel for this one: Valentino's vengeance was a very real threat even if a pitiful one from Alastor's perspective. If hanging onto him made Angel confident enough to act like himself, then so be it.

Alastor internally sighed with each demon scurrying away the second they saw him. Well, at least Angel was getting a day out and about where he wasn't pawed at every two seconds. He wondered if Angel was enjoying that, but it seemed like a stupid thing to ask. Pointless small talk.

Arriving at the cafe, Alastor tilted his head curiously to one side. "I don't believe I've even noticed this place before! How quaint!"

He slid his arm out from Angel's and walked towards the door, opening it and motioning for Angel to enter first.
