Alastor's ears twitched momentarily straight up at the feel of Angel's foot against his. That was likely unintentional.

"I must say that I've been having a rather pleasant time as well." He chuckled. "It isn't often I have company on my constitutionals as you've likely noticed."

Angel wasn't an idiot, after all. He might act like it sometimes but he certainly wasn't stupid.
