Angel didn't make any attempt to remove Alastor from his chest. The deer could feel the spider's chest vibrate as he chuckled, gently stroking the back of his head with a hand. He still couldn't stand up at the moment so Angel took this time to have the other demon rest peacefully against him.

"No apologies needed, Al." Angel shifted Alastor in his arms so that he was siting more comfortably. "You've been through a lot the past week. You get some rest... There was something I wanted to talk to about but now doesn't seem like a good time. You know... about Christmas."
