Alastor's ears had lowered when Angel pulled them apart, expecting that sober Angel wasn't really interested in kissing Alastor. Particularly since he knew he hadn't been that good of a kisser.

But then Angel was kissing him back. Alastor attempted to respond, swinging wildly between too light and too rough as he tried to figure out where the middle ground was. Again, A for effort but F for execution. It was a bit embarrassing.

As pleasant as this was, his skin was starting to crawl not just from the kisses but from being so exposed for so long. He reluctantly pulled away, face as red as his hair.

"I'm sorry. I'm not...I can't for much longer. But...it was nice."
