Alastor didn't move, instead gazing down at Angel with a critical eye.
He didn't care. Really, he didn't. He didn't need anybody or anything. He was fine with just his shadows.
He lied to himself so he wouldn't break.
"I will. For a few minutes. But I'll be back shortly."
And with that, he was gone, teleporting away to the nearest radio tower and a proper workroom.
