1. Has your character always believed in magic? Do they have something influencing their perspective on the supernatural/metaphysical/spiritual from their past? How do they feel about magic?


Meh, he’s kind of indifferent to magic. Like when he was alive, he certainly didn’t believe in magic, other than parlor tricks made by shotty stage magicians. If you would have told him, an Italian mobster, that honest to god magic was real? He would have laughed at you right out the door. But after he died, he still wouldn’t call the abilities Sinners sometimes got as magic. He really dislikes the powers that be, even though he’s gotten real close to Lucifer’s daughter. And the Short King ain’t half bad himself. More like a giant middle finger to God? Like who the hell made up the rules for Hell? Fate has a cruel sense of humor, cursing him with the limited abilities that he had. While other Sinners have almost god-like powers. But that's just how the world works, even in death. People still try to fuck you over. He still thinks real magic is things for children tales. Real magic doesn’t exist.


2. What mythological creature would your character most like to be? Which do they identify with? Which would they dread being? Feel free to use our Bestiary for reference.


A mythological creature that Angel would want to be a changeling, a shape shifter. That way he can be anything he wants. He can shift to fit any need, to be anyone you want him to be, baby. It could help him in his drag performances, to step out from being his shitty self for a moment. Just slip on another mask to hide from reality. He would most relate to sirens. Sirens lure sailors to their doom with their songs and beauty, yes sure, but they are also tragic. Angel has siren energy in how he performs, distracting himself from his own pain. There's beauty in his voice, in the way he masks loneliness with seduction. But underneath the glamour, there’s a quiet mourning as he wants someone to resist the song and see him. The creature he would not like to be a golem, something linked to another. Trapped, following orders with now bodily autonomy.



3. If there's one person your character would follow to another realm, who would it be and why? If there's no one, state that and explain why.


If there was one person that he would follow to another realm, it would be his twin sister Molly. Though with how things are right now, there might be hesitation. He lived a pretty shitty life when he was alive. He was the black sheep of the family and he didn’t get along with his father or brother. The only person who he was close to was his dear sister Molly. Since he hasn't seen her in Hell, it must mean she’s in Heaven. That fact I feel plays into one of the reasons why he joined up with Charlie. He does secretly wish for redemption, not that he would ever voice that. If he saw her now, as a sinner, I feel that there would be shame in having her see what he became. Still, he would like to see her again, after he cleans up his act and get his way into Heaven.


4. If you'd like pixies to change one event in your character's life, what would it be and why?


HA! Easy, though it would be an afterlife event change. He regrets ever selling his soul to Valentino. When he first got to Hell, it was actually liberating for him. Being a gay man in the 1940s was difficult and maybe not so surprisingly, he came to Hell with little ‘experience’. So upon his arrival, he could actually indulge and be himself. Maybe a little bit too much. It was Hell, what was the worst thing that could happen? Val, Val could happen. He slid into his life with sweet honeyed words, Angel was drawn to him like a moth to the flame. God, he was so laughably stupid, falling for a guy like that. It was only after he signed his soul away did Val’s true colors come out and what it truly meant to sell oneself. Angel lost control over his bodily autonomy, forced to play Val’s little games. For all eternity. If he can find a way out of the deal with that shitty moth, he would jump at the chance.

• Dead

Angel is<>/i dead, and has been for some time. By now, with how long, everyone he has known in life were also six feet under. Yet death hadn’t stopped him from being the life of the party, stealing the spotlight in any room, or from draping himself in sarcasm like armor. If anything, it made the performance easier. In some strange way, death was like a second chance at living. That he pissed away making the same bad choices he had made in life. Hanging out with the wrong kind of people, getting tangled up in his addictions. Beneath it all, he sometimes wondered if being dead just meant living without hope. Or if maybe, and I mean a small maybe, he could still find something worth ‘living’ for.

• Long


Long… Long represents time. As in like his eternal sentence to the nice warm place down south. Was there even a point to keep track of the days anymore? Each one seems to bleed into one another with the same shitty movie playing over and over again. Unable to change the picture. That was until little Miss Princess came along offering a new tune. Meh, he had nothing better to do with his time. Time was something he had loads of on his hands. A little bit too much. You know what they say about idle hands. Anything to break the same old routine.


• Door

Angel has seen many doors, both in life and in death. In life, they were shut doors set by his father, keeping him from the important parts of his family business. Shut away from his father’s approval. After he passed, his afterlife in Hell was a whole series of revolving doors. Bouncing from place to place, guy after guy. He did finally settle down when his path crossed Val, which was more of a cage. It wasn’t until Charlie offered him more. A real one. A door to something better, something new. It offered him a way to start worming his way out from the thumb of his pimp. But doors work both ways. They don’t just open to let something in, they open to let you out. And maybe, one day, there might be hope for him.


• Sin


Angel is a Sinner. Sin is his cross to bear. He played shitty games in life and now he is reaping what he sowed. As a Sinner, he is stuck in the Ring of Pride, mortals’ greatest sin. Which Angel has in spades. Often too prideful to ask for help. Sometimes with all the bad stuff that happens to him down here he believes he deserves it. After all, he was the one who made those choices. No one forced him. There is a secret part of him that wants to be saved, to be redeemed. But if Charlie ever found out, she would be like a dog with a bone. He had street cred to protect, okay?


• Fall

Well, he is a fallen Angel. Cause I’m so funny. Aa a sinner in Hell, how much further could one fall? Soooo much further, as Angel painfully discovered. Being a normal Joe is Hell was no walk in the park, but if he only knew the hole he was digging, it wouldn’t have been so bad. The drugs and the parties were fun while they lasted. But no, he had to fuck around and find out. He thought with fame, being linked to some of the most powerful demons in Hell would give him status, money. What he found out was yeah, he has fame, at the cost of being a certain moth’s bitch boy forever.
